Who We Are
We are family-owned wine importer and wholesale distribution company based in Berlin, CT. Ann and I started out in 2010 with the goal of building a small, vibrant company selling kickass wine and spirits, built around really good people.
If we do our job right, we are helping primarily small and *inspired* artisan wineries and distilleries compete in a heavily consolidated marketplace, where most retail shelf space, online stores, and restaurant wine lists are filled with ho-hum mass-produced wine, thanks to some savvy and creative marketing, and plenty of sausage making.
We lean heavily on the smaller producers who farm organically and sustainably, and create wines with obvious character. If we work with a winery, we like the people and what they represent, and it forms a web of small business and community that fills our sails. That inspiration 100% shows through in the specific wines and spirits we choose to sell to our retail and restaurant customers. That’s the plan.
